- MoSleep does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent insomnia, sleep apnea or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or therapist.
- The Sleep Window reduces time in bed, gently. It never goes below 5½ hours and is never shortened without your agreement. Daytime sleepiness can rise for a week or two when you start; if you feel very sleepy, don't drive or operate machinery, and widen or pause your window.
- The Sleep Window is not offered if you report loud snoring or gasping in sleep, bipolar disorder or a seizure disorder, pregnancy, night or rotating shifts, or nodding off while driving. Please talk to a doctor about these.
- If check-ins show several very short nights in a row, MoSleep pauses the window and suggests checking in with a clinician.
- MoSleep never tells you to start, stop or change any medication.
- If you've felt down or hopeless most days for two weeks or more, please talk to someone you trust or a professional. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), free, 24/7.
- In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
